We live in a world where the awe of God has been lost. God is no longer feared or respected. The ripple down effect of this shows in how people treat each other. It especially shows in how those in leadership are no longer respected or feared. The absence of the fear of God is a tragedy in any life, church, or nation. Without it, chaos, deception, and judgment are inevitable. But when we restore godly fear, we attract His presence, wisdom, and favor. The goal of this series is to help us rediscover the lost treasure of the awe of God. David prayed: “Unite my heart to fear Your name” (Psalm 86:11).
