Music Director


The Music Director is responsible for the overseeing of all musical presentations for the Northminster Campus. The Director will work closely with the Campus Pastor to structure the service elements for Sunday morning services as well as other campus events. They will provide vision and leadership to a team of volunteers, never letting them forget why they do what they do, and why it matters to God.

Some of the duties of the position include, but are not limited to:


-Oversee the spiritual development of the music team
-Oversee Sunday morning stage set up
-Oversee Wednesday night practice
-Provide vision and direction for the music team by developing monthly, quarterly and yearly goals with Northminster Campus Pastor


-Continuously recruit and train a team of volunteers or fulfill the musical needs of the campus
-Schedule all music volunteers to meet musical needs of events held at the campus
-Invest in the spiritual growth of the musical volunteers, and provide care to the team members
-Plan team events, meetings outside of Sunday service to build community and unity
-Develop goals for self and music team.


-Work with other campus music directors and creative team to plan and execute all elements for Sunday morning service.
-On Sunday mornings coordinate with Campus Pastor and Technical Director to make sure that set up and service are done with excellence.
-Attend functions to support other team members including Campus Pastor and Children’s Director.
-Other duties as requested by the Campus Pastor

Part-time Position
Schedule: Tuesdays 8 to 9am staff meeting, Wednesdays 1 to 9pm rehearsal; Sundays 8am-12pm; plus 3-4 hours as needed
Hours: 15 hours per week
Location: Northminster Campus
